Unlimited and inclusive calling covers UK landline numbers beginning with 01, 02, and 03, as well as UK mobiles on major networks, including Vodafone, O2, EE, Three, Virgin Mobile (EE), Asda Mobile (EE), and Tesco Mobile (O2). It also applies to specified international landlines and mobiles. Calls outside your plan may incur a Call Set-Up Fee (CSF). These calls are charged per minute, with partial minutes rounded up to the nearest whole minute and penny. Service number calls are billed at the advertised service charge plus an access charge. Minutes used via mobile, tablet, or desktop applications (including Extensions) count toward your total plan usage. Early termination and disconnection fees may apply. Broadband is required. Keep Your Existing Phone Number
If you’ve had your home or business phone number for a long time, you may want to keep it when switching to Vonage. The good news is that Vonage can transfer most UK landline numbers through a process called number porting.
Which Numbers Can Be Transferred?
- If you use a cable broadband connection (e.g., Virgin), you can keep your current number.
- If you have ADSL broadband (e.g., BT, Sky, TalkTalk), the transfer process may be more complex, but in most cases, your number can still be ported.
How Long Does the Transfer Take?
The transfer process typically takes between two weeks and a month. To avoid delays, ensure that all required information is submitted promptly and accurately. During the transition, you’ll have access to both your existing landline number and a temporary Vonage number.
Should I Cancel My Current Phone Service?
No. Your existing phone service must remain active for the number transfer to be completed. If you cancel it too soon, you may lose your number permanently. Once the transfer is successful, your old service will be automatically discontinued.
